Draft for attorney review before BeenAboard launches. The company name, address and governing law are filled in at that review.

These terms are an agreement between you and BeenAboard ("we"). By creating an account or using the app or this website, you agree to them.

Who can use BeenAboard

You must be at least 18. You sign in with Apple and are responsible for what happens under your account.

Writing reviews

• Review only flights you were aboard, and describe your own experience honestly.
• Don't accept payment, discounts or anything else in return for a review, or for making it positive or negative.
• Don't name or identify crew members or other passengers, and leave out private details such as tail numbers and airports. The app shows the month and region for you.
• No abuse, harassment, threats, discrimination or unlawful content.
• If you work for an operator or broker, don't review your own company or its competitors.

"Verified" means we confirmed the flight took place and that the reviewer was connected to it. It doesn't mean we agree with or check the opinions in a review. Reviewers' opinions are their own.

Moderation

We never remove or hide a review because it's negative. A review is removed only if it is abusive, fake, off-topic or shares private information, or when its author deletes their account. Anyone can report content in the app, and a moderator reviews every report. Operators can reply to reviews but can't remove them.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it as part of BeenAboard, in the public format described in our Privacy Policy, for as long as it's published.

Operators

Only people authorized by an operator may manage its page. Replies must be professional and must never identify a passenger. Answer flight confirmations truthfully.

Pre-trip information

Pre-trip checks report what public FAA records show and the date of that data. Records can be incomplete or out of date. BeenAboard is not a safety rating, a certification or advice, and never says whether an operator or a flight is legal. Confirm details with your operator before you fly; your travel decisions are your own.

Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before it renews. Your first pre-trip check is free. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change, with notice through Apple.

Things you may not do

Don't scrape or copy the service, interfere with it, get around verification, create fake accounts or flights, or use BeenAboard to harass anyone.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

BeenAboard is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on reviews or pre-trip information.

Changes and contact
